Charley H. Willis, MHA, MA, RN-CAMS I
Co-Director-GAFCS
My therapeutic approach is client-centered, trauma-informed, and grounded in empathy and compassion. I integrate evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Somatic Awareness to help clients identify patterns, manage emotions, and build resilience. My goal is to empower each client to understand their story, process their pain, and move toward lasting emotional wellness.
Believing that healing begins with self-understanding and compassion, I create a space where clients can feel seen, heard, and supported without judgment. I’m passionate about helping individuals break cycles of fear, navigate life transitions, and develop healthy coping tools that lead to meaningful change.
Outside of the therapy room, I value mindfulness, creativity, and continuous growth — principles I also bring into work with clients.

My experience includes working with individuals facing homelessness, substance use, and a range of mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, women’s issues, life transitions, and co-occurring conditions. I have also supported individuals with and at risk for HIV, veterans, pregnant and parenting teens, and people with developmental disabilities.
I take pride in using a creative therapeutic style—blending evidence-based practices with hands-on, experiential techniques to help clients discover new pathways to healing and growth. My goal is to empower each person to embrace their unique journey with strength and resilience.
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy painting, creating therapeutic activities, and exploring new creative outlets. I also love building with Legos and designing interactive wellness games that make mental health engaging and accessible.
